As I wind down those oh so fascinating knee updates that I continue to be amazed by the rapidity of my progress. I know, I complain one day and then two days later I’m doing whatever I was complaining I couldn’t do. As of Friday, I was still not confident with just a cane. Today, I can walk a bit without a cane at all. And a vacuum functions pretty much the same as a cane, sort of, when it comes to getting the house clean. I still lurch (Bea’s word) a bit and I swear my right leg feels just a bit too long – probably from not being able to straighten it out for years it now feels odd in the straight position.

The knee updates ARE fascinating! And you are not the only one amazed by your progress.
I am amazed and happy about your progress, I hope it keeps going. Hopefully the added mobility will allow you to do more fun things, and will obviously help day to day activities. As for lurching or odd walks and not being used to the leg, I am pretty sure those will sort themselves out once the nerves in the spine and brain figure out that something has changed, they can be kinda slow at that, but they will get there eventually, especially since you are so determined and good at doing the rehab stuff.
I’m very happy to read your updates. Glad you are making such good progress. I’m impressed that you would even try to vacuum. Maybe you don’t hate vacuuming as much as I do.
Fantastic work, my friend! Sorry it has been awhile since I stopped by.
